Poederbaas
About
Poederbaas was born from a love for freeride skiing, a passion that evolved into a community of adventurers living for the mountains. Founded by Stenmar Ijff, the brand grew from handmade beanies into a movement that celebrates individuality, courage, and the thrill of exploration.
Project Briefing
Poederbaas wanted to launch their new 25/26 winter collection with a campaign. The goal was to reach both core snowboarders and a wider outdoor audience through a series of Meta campaigns.
Each campaign had its own objective, from conversion and purchase to consideration and always-on visibility, ensuring consistent brand presence throughout the season.
The Design
I developed the campaign concept and visual direction, creating both static and video ads for Meta. Each campaign was split into men’s and women’s sets, allowing the visuals to be tailored to different audiences and product categories.
The creative concept revolved around the brand’s essence: authentic, bold, and playful. I scanned one of Poederbaas’ signature beanies and transformed its knit texture into abstract background art, using it as the foundation for the entire ad system. This detail embedded a tangible piece of Poederbaas’ identity into the visuals.
Key Achievements
I helped Poederbaas explore a bolder, more niche visual direction to strengthen their connection with core snowboarders. By designing two distinct ad styles, one commercial and one raw and culture-driven, the brand could test and refine its positioning through A/B campaigns.
My role covered concept, copy and design, making sure every asset felt vibrant, dynamic, and unmistakably Poederbaas.
